ABOUT STACY 

I'm a Virginia girl born and raised in the Richmond suburbs, and now live in the Unknown Regions of Northern Virginia (because let's be real, it's a different planet than the rest of the Commonwealth). 

I love sweet tea, pearls, carbs, and helping others. I wish I had been a small town girl, and I can't say y'all enough - I get asked about my accent all the time up here!

I've always been a wine person more than beer or liquor. I went to my first winery 8 years ago, and going to them has often been one of the few times that I truly disconnect from work and try new things. It is also one of my favorite ways to spend time with my sister and nephew (who is all there for the oyster crackers), so you'll often see mentions of family-friendly features in my reviews. 

You don't need to be a wine expert to find the differences among Virginia wines, and Virginia wine is very unique unto itself. Having visited over 60 of the 250 Virginia wineries, I hope this blog can serve as a helpful guide for everyone to find a Virginia wine and winery they love!
